Our Solutions

Church Planting
We believe that God's mode of rescuing His people is through His Body, the Church. We currently have started a church in this village run by Pastor Robert Opali. There are currently about 50 adults and 70 children that attend regularly.

Community School
Education opens up so many doors for a person. In Uganda, all education is privatized making it too expensive and inaccessible to the poorest of people. A lack of education perpetuates a cycle of poverty and stagnation.
We have started a preschool and kindergarten in Butaleja that is open to the entire community. There are currently 110 children enrolled in our school.

Sports Outreach
Being a part of a team, of something bigger than oneself, has an empowering effect on an individual. We have started a community soccer league in Butaleja to promote this image of what it means to be a part of a larger Body.

Medical Outreach
Our dream is to start a hospital in Butaleja. In the meantime, we are hoping to open a pharmacy with an attending nurse that will allow people to get access to medication within their own community.

Clean Water
When basic necessities are not met, such as access to clean drinking water, it's hard to imagine that there is a God that cares for your every need and it's hard to imagine a Living Water when we feel so thirsty in this life. Our prayer is to build a well in this community that gives everyone access to clean drinking water and points them to their need of the true Living Water.

Business & Life Skills Training
Much of this community is stuck in a cycle of generational poverty. Agriculture is a huge part of this society and our prayer is to start teaching wealth-generating skills to the people of Butaleja so that they can better themselves and their livelihoods. There is also a cycle of familial poverty; there is domestic violence, child marriage, etc. We hope to provide marriage seminars and parenting classes to members of this community. Through this, we hope to point them to the true Bread of Life that cares for their every need.
Our Impact
111 children in school
Over 120 people churched
Over 500 people in Butaleja have heard the Gospel
Over 50 jobs created for local people through the building projects, church & school
Long Term Vision
Our dream is to see N'Jani Ministries become a self-sustaining church, school, & hospital in the village of Butaleja by 2050. Our prayer is that this will be a place of community empowerment and enrichment run by and for the local people of this region for the glory of God. Our vision is to duplicate it in other regions of Uganda and the rest of Africa.
